Ruler Convert

I admit it. I can be a bit giddy about creating my own designs. I enjoy free-motion quilting without sketching the design on the quilt while letting the fabric tell me what it wants to me to create. I recently fell in love with rulers, however, while attending Jamie Wallen’s three-day class on feathers, rulers and grids.

Quilters Apothecary http://quiltersapothecary.com/quilting-rulers/ is my new favorite site and their orders are shipped quickly. That is, unless you forget to change your mailing address in your PayPal account. Lesson learned. Rich was great at helping me track the package and troubleshoot. It was as if I was their only customer.

I also love Kaufman fabrics. This cute, bubbly panel was asking for its own design. Here are a few photos of the planning phases to completion with Warm and White batting doubled up. I finished yesterday and am now searching for a name.

Until next time. Thank you for visiting!
